Three Ways Your Food May Kill You

Food sustains us, but it can also take our lives. Let's talk about the ways this can happen.

First, we can start with the least deadly way, which is choking. According to the National Safety Council, 5,000 Americans choke to death each year.

Next up let's consider diseases linked to one’s diet such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease. This one kills way more than choking. Unhealthy eating contributes to 678,000 deaths in the US each year.

Lastly, there is a silent killer. Silent because it is hidden in nearly all the food we eat. Chemicals used in the food industry are deadly. Many of the compounds used to color, flavor and preserve the very food which sustains us are unsafe.

The FDA currently allows 10,000 chemicals to be used by processed food manufacturers. In small doses, they may not kill immediately, but over time, they accumulate in the human body. Each day, as we eat, we're adding to the toxic reservoir of these chemicals throughout our bodies.

According to the Environmental Defense Fund, the names of many of the agents used to enable our food to reach the market don't even appear on the label. In other words, it is impossible to know just what we are consuming.

The good news is that there is something we can do to protect our health. Just as we use activated charcoal water filters to remove dangerous substances from our drinking water; we can do the same with our food.

According to the American Cancer Society, in the United States cancer kills 1,620 people each day You can bet that many of these cases can likely be linked back to additives in our food as quiet as it’s kept.

This is what prevention looks like!

Using a highly micronized activated charcoal capsule-like Sauveur Noir Activated Charcoal can draw these toxic substances from the body. Thus, denying dangerous chemicals the opportunity to accumulate and cause dreaded problems with your health in the future. As always, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
